How to Protect Yourself from Fraudsters


Online:

  • Do not click on suspicious links or websites.
  • Never share SMS codes, 3DSecure codes, or your Tenge24 app password.
  • Only trust the Bank’s official pages on social media.


By Phone:

  • Do not disclose your card details (full card number, expiration date, CVV code, PIN).
  • Do not share personal information (full name, TIN, ID number).
  • Do not install third-party programs or apps at the request of strangers.
  • Do not link someone else’s mobile number at an ATM.


When Using Your Card for Payments:


  • Enable push notifications in the Tenge24 app.
  • Immediately block your card if it is lost or stolen.
  • Do not store your PIN code near your card.


Stay Vigilant!


Follow these simple recommendations to protect your money and personal information:

  • Do not trust strangers, even if they claim to be Bank employees.
  • Bank employees NEVER request card details, SMS codes, or passwords.
  • Bank employees do not suggest installing third-party mobile or web applications other than Tenge24, available only in the official Google Play and App Store.
  • If you receive a suspicious call, do not engage in conversation and report it to the Contact Center at 1245.
  • Bank promotions and contests are announced only on the official website and Tenge Bank social media accounts.


Do Not Share Card Information!


  • Do not enter login credentials, passwords, or SMS codes for online banking access on untrusted devices.
  • Never share the 3-digit security code on the back of your card.
  • Do not store your PIN code with your card.
  • If your card is lost, block it via the Tenge24 app or the Contact Center at 1245.


Do Not Trust Strangers!


  • Bank employees NEVER request personal client information – login/passwords for online banking or SMS codes.
  • Sharing personal information with strangers allows fraudsters to access your money.
  • Do not rush to trust the caller. If you receive a suspicious call or message, call the Bank back yourself.


Verify Suspicious Websites!


  • Do not visit websites via banner ads or email links.
  • Check that the connection to the official website is secure (https) and that the website address is correct. Fraudulent sites may differ by just one character but look visually identical. It is recommended to type the verified address manually and bookmark it. The browser address bar should show: https://tengebank.uz/en
  • Always double-check information about prize draws or requests for money transfers to your bank account or card.
  • The Bank NEVER sends mass emails with attachments, links, or forms for online banking access.


Security Measures


  • The Bank regularly informs clients about new types of fraud and how to protect against them.
  • If fraudulent activity is detected, the Bank immediately blocks client accounts and cards to protect funds.
  • If fraudulent websites are detected, the Bank contacts law enforcement to block them.
  • If you encounter fraud, please report it to the Contact Center at 1245.
